1. Introduction
Welcome to 2GEEKS ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") govern your use of our website located at www.2geeksrepair.com and services operated by 2GEEKS.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
2. Repair Services
2.1 Service Descriptions: We provide repair services for mobile phones, computers, and other electronic devices as well as IT services. We will use reasonable efforts to provide these services in a professional and workmanlike manner.
2.2 Estimates: Any estimates provided for repairs are approximations only. The final cost may vary based on the actual work required, which may not be fully determined until the repair is in progress.
2.3 Repair Timeframes: While we endeavor to complete repairs in the timeframe quoted, this is not guaranteed. Factors beyond our control may affect completion times.
2.4 Data: We are not responsible for any data stored on your device. It is your responsibility to back up any data before submitting your device for repair. Data loss may occur during the repair process.
2.5 Parts: Replacement parts may be new, used, or refurbished, depending on availability. Unless otherwise specified, they are not original manufacturer parts but are compatible replacements.
3. Warranties
3.1 Repair Warranty: Our repairs come with a 30-day limited warranty covering defects in parts and workmanship. Battery replacements have a 90-day warranty. This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or abuse after the repair
- Water or liquid damage occurring after the repair
- Issues unrelated to the specific repair performed
- Tampering with or modifications to the repaired device
3.2 Warranty Claims: To claim under warranty, you must present your repair receipt and the device in the same condition as when it was picked up from our service center. The warranty is void if the device shows signs of misuse or tampering.
4. IT Services
4.1 Scope of Services: Our IT services include network setup, computer repair, data recovery, and ongoing technical support. The specific scope of services will be detailed in a separate agreement.
4.2 Service Level: While we strive to provide reliable service, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues in a timely manner.
4.3 Client Responsibilities: Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, necessary access permissions, and for maintaining appropriate backup systems.
5. Abandoned Devices
Devices left for repair and not collected within 30 days of notification of completion will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to dispose of abandoned devices after this period. Storage fees may apply for devices not collected within 14 days of notification.
6. Payment
6.1 Payment Terms: Payment is due in full upon completion of repairs before the device is returned or IT services are performed. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment options.
6.2 Diagnostic Fees: A diagnostic fee may be charged for evaluating devices, even if you choose not to proceed with the recommended repairs. This fee is often waived if repairs are authorized.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall 2GEEKS be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use our services
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
- The cost of procurement of substitute goods or services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained from us
- Data loss or device damage during the repair process
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific repair or service in question.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless 2GEEKS and its employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
